Fthing is a utility to compare the objects contained in 2 or more folders. It mimics placing 2 or more explorer windows side-by-side, and displays object (file and folder) size information in an organized fashion. It includes the currently missing Windows Explorer Size column value for folders. A snapshot of up to 9 folders can be saved as a set and recalled at a later time. Folder sets can be edited to change the folders being tracked. You can maintain a history of sizes of folders and their contained objects . Tools to easily find folders on the system or networked drives are available. Additional tools to maintain the size information database are supplied. An export facility allows for saving of the captured data to a CSV file. The CSV file can be imported to recreate the size information on a remote computer.
